speed is king

We often underestimate the value of speed in everything we do.

People are always amazed when someone does something faster. The combination of speed and skill is a golden one-doing something fast and doing it well is an undeniable advantage.

Most skills fall into this category-whether it’s programming, playing a musical instrument, driving, or even cleaning your room. If you can do it fast, it likely means you have a level of skill that isn’t common.

People see speed and go “wow,” but their admiration is directed at the skill itself and the person who built it. The value of speed as its own asset often goes unnoticed.

Volume is also king - and this is not even a thing to discuss. Someone who has made a basketball shot a thousand times will do better, someone who has played a particular chess opening a thousand times will do better. Speed aids volume. Do things faster -> do more things.

Speed isn’t just a byproduct of skill, it’s a skill in itself.
